When water goes BAD!

Mold under a sink

After water damage has occurred you must act quickly to prevent mold from growing.

Mold spores can be found almost anywhere. They can grow on virtually any organic substance, as long as moisture and oxygen are present. There are molds that can grow on wood, paper, carpet, rugs, upholstery, foods, and insulation.

When excessive moisture accumulates in buildings or on building materials, mold growth can often occur, particularly if the moisture problem remains undiscovered or unaddressed.

Mold on a Ceiling

It is impossible to eliminate all molds and mold spores in the indoor environment. However, mold growth can be controlled indoors by controlling moisture indoors.

At Culbertson’s Cleaning Service we can help you with this problem.  We have powerful truck mount units to extract excess water out of carpets and floors. We have air movers to help speed up the drying process. We can also use dehumidifiers to help remove moisture out of the air.
