Why Soil Retardent is important!

Keep your home cleaner, fresher, brighter … longer

• Helps protect against both oil and water based stains.
• Helps carpet fibers resist soiling.
• Gives you time to blot up spills, before they become stains.
• Helps stains release more easily when carpet and upholstery is cleaned.
• Helps carpet and upholstery stay cleaner longer.

It is well worth the investment.

Beware of the use of spotters!

A lot of spotters on the market have the word “OXY” in them.

Be cautious when using these kinds of spotters, as they may contain bleach, which can discolor and/or damage your loose rugs or upholstery. (This includes handmade rugs, oriental rugs, and silk rugs just to name a few)

The safest method to clean any upholstery or loose rugs is to call Culbertson’s for direction and guidance.

How to prevent Moth damage in area rugs.

A moth infestation can be easily deterred by a few housecleaning tips:

•Have your area rug professionally cleaned. Once a year in recommended.

•Vacuum the entire rug, especially areas under furniture. Once a month is best.

•Rotate the area rug, this always helps the area rug wear evenly. Twice a year if possible.
